A Booster tool for uTorrent clients.

Pros: The uTorrent EZ Booster 1.3.1 adds to the list of EZ Booster. This now is a booster for uTorrent client softwares. The best part of the software is that you don’t need to do much in terms of settings etc. Just press the “ACCELERATE” button and you’re good to go. The interface is effective because of its simplicity. Improves download speed significantly on connections that are fairly slow. The good things is also that during idle periods (when you are not actively browsing, but reading a web page for example) it throttles speed to utilize the complete bandwidth available on your connection, unlike the traditional uTorrent client which takes a more pessimistic approach and will not utilize the entire bandwidth. It also provides statistics on usage similar to the ones reported for Windows: Bytes sent, Bytes received, connection time and adds a duration acceleration which indicates the time that you have enabled the acceleration. On slower connections, because of the acceleration, Search performance is also improved.

Cons: The very basic interface which is certainly not good-looking does not do justice to the software. The only consolation is that once you press the “ACCELLERATE” button you can thankfully forget about looking at the window for the rest of your online browsing session. The graphs are more visually appealing than actually giving too much useful information. Acceleration is marginal for people who have fast connections so they may want to skip this one.

Overall: 4 stars. Works at accelerating the uTorrent client. Poor interface.
