Pros: Photo Framer is an application to add frames, borders and effects to digital photos. You are able to save the enhanced photos in several popular formats. The package comes with 100 odd photo frames. 200 more can be downloaded after the product is registered. These are grouped in classes such as simple borders, simple frames, button effect, mask effects, vector frames, artistic frames, 3D frames and oval frames. In each of these categories you can choose to vary the effect by selecting, color, thickness of the border, use color, a color gradient effect of some other parameter that makes sense for that frame category. A preview window in the parameter setting pop up lets you decide if you want a particular effect on the frame you have chosen.
Through the easy to use GUI you can choose to have a set of effects applied to the photos besides adding a frame to it. The effects available are blur, color noise, contrast, mono noise, invert, contrast, mosaic, spray and wave are effects available. Photo Framer supports cropping, resizing and rotating of photos.
Cons: With any such creative package the library effects are never enough. One always feels the need for more. That apart the range of effects available is really limited. These could easily have been more. A basic set of editing functionality such as contrast and color enhancement would have been useful.
Overall: This application is a overall 3 star product easily.
